Welcome to Shoji Matsumoto, Mountain Guide.
I live in Fujiyoshida Yamanashi, right below Mt.Fuji.
It's a privilege for me to guide people trekking, ski touring in Japanese mountains.
I am a certified Ski and Trekking Guide, JMGA, (Japan Mountain Guide Association) as well as an active member of JAN(Japan Avalanche Network).
My guiding career evolved from my passionate love of ski mountaineering.
Since 2003, when I worked as an avalanche course instructor for the first time,I have logged many years as a guide and instructor, and yes, I still like my job. I love what I do.

I specialize Hakuba area in the North Alps, East Daisetuzan area in Hokkaido, Minakami area in Jyoetsu, Zao area in Tohoku and Mt.Fuji for Ski guide.Also I specialize Mt.Fuji, South Alps, Yatsugatake range and North Alps for trekking guide.
